About the Forum

The Bowdoin Student Legal Forum is a student-run online publication for legal discourse, published by the Bowdoin Pre-Law Society. We publish concise, accessible pieces on current legal issues, public policy, constitutional questions, international law, and other legal topics, written for any student with an interest in the law.

Our mission is to unite Bowdoin’s liberal arts education with the law, encouraging students across disciplines to examine how the law shapes, and is shaped by, their fields of study.

Through writing, editing, and discussion, we give students interested in public service, law, and related fields meaningful opportunities to engage with legal ideas, and to make legal discussion a stronger part of Bowdoin’s intellectual community.

Write for the Forum

Students interested in writing for the Forum are encouraged to get involved. We hope to build a community of student writers who work with our editors to develop ideas and contribute throughout the year.
